These terms are between you and Liquid Pix Pty Ltd, trading as Liquid Pix. They apply to our bespoke commissions, private sessions and other photography and film services. Separate terms for Learn to Swim photo days and the Underwater Portrait Masterclass are set out below.
Underwater photography depends on water clarity and conditions. Occasionally we may need to reschedule due to weather, cloudy or unsafe water, equipment issues, or circumstances beyond our control. If this happens, we will reschedule your session to the next suitable date and your deposit and payments carry over in full. We are not liable for any other costs you may incur as a result.
We take great care to deliver beautiful, high-quality products. If an item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days and we will repair, replace or remedy it in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Because commissioned artwork is made specifically for you, we do not offer refunds for change of mind on custom products.
We provide our services with professional care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, Liquid Pix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Questions about these terms? Contact us at hello@liquidpix.com.au or 0423 064 835.
These terms apply to underwater photo days held at your child’s swim school.
A deposit secures your place, and your place is confirmed once the deposit is received. For Australian Masterclasses, the deposit is $500 and the remaining balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the Masterclass, or you may pay in full at the time of booking. Pricing and payment timing for other locations will be confirmed when you book. Places are strictly limited to six per Masterclass.
Your deposit secures a specific date and a limited place. If you cancel, your deposit is refundable only if we are able to fill your place with another participant. If we can fill your place, your deposit will be refunded in full; if we cannot, the deposit is retained to cover the place held and the costs committed on your behalf. Any amount paid above the deposit is always refundable. Where possible, we are happy to transfer your place to another available Masterclass date instead.
If we cancel or postpone a Masterclass for any reason, including insufficient numbers, unsafe or unsuitable conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a place on the next available date or a full refund of everything you have paid, including your deposit. We are not liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs you may incur.
During the Masterclass you will photograph, and be photographed by, other participants as part of the hands-on learning, and we may also provide models. Any images you create during the day are for your own learning and personal practice. Because these images feature other people, including fellow participants, you may not publish, share publicly, sell or use them commercially. We may photograph and film the day for our portfolio, website, social media and advertising; if you would prefer not to appear in our marketing, let us know and we will respect that.
You must be comfortable and safe in the water to participate. Please tell us in advance of any medical condition or concern that may affect your participation. All equipment is provided, and you are responsible for handling it with reasonable care.
The Masterclass, including all teaching, demonstrations, notes and materials, is the intellectual property of Liquid Pix. You are welcome to take your own written notes for personal use. However, you may not audio-record, film or screen-record any part of the instruction, and you may not share, reproduce, resell or teach the Masterclass content to others. What you learn is yours to use in your own photography and business; the course itself remains ours.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
